My husband bought a high gain signal amplifier on 9-06-2013, from Radio Shack in Brooklyn MI, it was defective and he returned it on 9-07-2013. He asked for an exchange, the manager said "there was a mistake in the charge and she couldn't exchange it for what he paid".
In a digital world where we are able to cut out the some of the Customer Service element of the retail experience by simply shopping online, these friends and many others choose to support local brick and mortar businesses by paying a little more, patronizing small businesses in Brooklyn, and engaging in a community only to be treated in this disgraceful manner. Via the local Police Department, Radio Shack has encouraged their family and friends to stay away and we will happily oblige.

Needless to say my husband was not satisfied with his treatment at the Radio Shack in Brooklyn MI.
Accused friends and neighbors of conducting retail fraud, resulting in a surveillance photo being posted of them in the Brooklyn Exponent and a citation being issued for "Disorderly Retail Fraud," without due process or trying to contact the customers in question.
Google's time is not right for Sundays, they close at 3pm not 5pm. Plus, radio shack never carries many electronic parts like capacitors, dios,rosters and many others types. If radio shack wonts better business carry more electronic parts.
Now as far as my husband knew the product was on sale, even if a mistake was made, she should have taken it up with the employee and not taken it out on the customer. She did refund what he had paid, and my husband told her, "I will never be back to that store again".
